Taste Our Best is an accreditation scheme we run which celebrates businesses who serve up locally sourced, quality food and drink. Of course, there’s no shortage of incredible dishes, drinks and produce on offer wherever you are in the country – more than 1,000 businesses are already part of the scheme after all.

    Being a Taste Our Best business means that you can be easily identified as a provider of high quality locally sourced food and drink, something that we’ll help support throughout our marketing

  • Open to more than restaurants

    You can sign up to be part of Taste Our Best if you’re a restaurant, pub or takeaway. Hotels, B&Bs, guest houses, exclusive use venues and visitor attractions can take part too – these businesses will be automatically assessed as part of their Quality Assurance visit and won’t need to sign up separately, contact your Industry Relationship Manager for more information

How to join Taste our Best

For restaurants, cafes and takeaways

If you’re a food service business like a restaurant, café, pub, or takeaway, and you’re not operating as part of a Quality Assured business like a hotel or visitor attraction please take the following steps to apply.

    Make sure you match the criteria

    Don’t worry if you’re not sure if you can apply. We can offer you guidance on what you can do to fit the bill. Find out which businesses are eligible to join.

    Find out which category your business comes under

    The price of your Taste Our Best assessment is based on the type of food business you run. Take a look at all costs and schedule of conditions. Again, if you’re not sure which category your business comes under, please get in touch to discuss.
