Check you're eligible
If you're a business specialising in the visitor market and promoting tourism in Scotland, you can apply for access to our Digital Media Library (DML). It's free, and once you've signed up, you can access and download images and videos for your promotion of Scotland as a visitor destination.
Agree to our terms and conditions
The DML has a broad range of high-resolution images captured by our in-house photographer. The images are free if used to promote tourism in Scotland.
Agree to our terms and conditions. The images and videos in the Digital Media Library are all subject to copyright, and you should ensure that you follow the copyright restrictions carefully:
- Always credit the photographer and VisitScotland
- Abide by the terms of usage and licence for each image
- when you request to download an image, you must explain how you plan to use / publish the image. Include as much detail as possible.
