This is Scotland’s flagship industry conference for the events and festivals sector.

The conference is organised by our Events Directorate, and includes speakers from across the events industry. It is held for all those working to create, deliver and support Scotland’s cultural and sporting events.

The events and festivals sector is a significant contributor to the Scottish economy. Events enhance Scotland's international profile, and bring wide-ranging social, wellbeing and cultural benefits. They also unite and engage our diverse communities.

The National Events Conference seeks to highlight this importance and the valuable contribution the events industry makes. It also provides a forum for discussion around the opportunities and challenges that the sector faces.

When will the National Events Conference take place?

The date and location for the next National Events Conference is to be confirmed. It is anticipated to take place in spring 2024 to coincide with the launch of Scotland’s revised National Events Strategy.
