Our job as an organisation is all about making sure the world knows just how fantastic a visit to Scotland can be. So whether it’s visitors or employees, we know a thing or two about making people feel welcome!

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation we have all pulled together and practically overnight moved our teams to work from home, providing our employees with equipment and IT kit, and enabling first class communication tools to keep conversations flowing. We’ve had a real focus on employee wellbeing with weekly news articles, a staff survey to check how everyone is coping, and providing safe spaces to talk and voice concerns. We recognise the challenges our employees are facing, and we are working together more so than ever at this time. 

If you join VisitScotland over the next few months it’s possible you won’t get the chance to meet your colleagues in person, but rest assured you’ll feel part of the team through regular video calls, team meetings, social activities and communications from our CEO, Chairman and others across the organisation. We have been busy adapting our induction to make sure you have everything you need when you join the team, even if it's in a digital environment for now and are we looking forward to a time when we can meet you for a real coffee instead of a virtual one.
