At VisitScotland we pride ourselves on our flexibility and teamwork and have adopted a hybrid working model. This involves us working from home but with the opportunity to spend time with colleagues in our local offices, as well as our partners and stakeholders around Scotland. We have a real focus on employee wellbeing with weekly news articles, staff surveys, a number of staff support groups, and providing safe spaces to talk and voice concerns as they arise.
If you join VisitScotland now it’s likely you won’t be in an office all the time but you’ll still feel part of the team through regular video calls, team meetings, social activities and communications from our CEO, Chairman and others across the organisation. In addition to this, you’ll have the chance to book a desk in an office to meet up with colleagues and attend meetings, planning your diary to suit your role and its commitments.
You’ll see that the majority of our roles are advertised Scotland wide from any of our office locations. We’ve realised for most roles it doesn’t matter where your desk is, so whether you’re in Stranraer or Stornoway, Kinross or Kinlochbervie, Glasgow or Gattonside you can apply to the role that suits you and not worry about the commute.
