Connecting with VisitScotland top tips

Our team

One of your main contacts within our organisation, will be your Industry Relationship Manager (IRM). The IRMs are responsible for building, developing and managing relationships with businesses across the visitor economy. The IRM is the conduit between VisitScotland and you - the business - acting as your representative and point of contact within the organisation and vice versa.

Our Regional Directors, Regional Leadership Directors and Development Managers have the responsibility of making the most of tourism opportunities as well as developing and strengthening partnerships within their region. They work in collaboration with local authorities, destination organisations and other key stakeholders.

Our friendly and welcoming VisitScotland iCentre staff know Scotland better than anyone and are ready to help you become a hame town tourist. Of course they also engage with businesses to keep up to date on what the area(s) have to offer. Feel free to pop in and say hello, we’d love to see you.

If you're an event organisation, then our events team are dedicated to growing and supporting Scotland's events industry and are experts in their field.

Business to business events

We manage a programme of industry events for tourism businesses across Scotland, many of which are delivered in partnership with destination organisations and industry groups. Our virtual (and face to face when the time is right) programme of events provide practical advice and support to stimulate new and sustainable growth according to the needs, capability and ambition of the tourism industry.

They’re designed to inform and address the information, product development and tech needs of Scottish businesses as identified through our ongoing programme of proactive calls to businesses.

Stay up to date with events in your area or national events relevant to your business by keeping an eye on our industry events calendar. And, if you’re hosting an event or training workshop that targets a business audience, you can add it to this calendar for free.
