Destination Climate Action is a programme that was envisioned in 2021, following the Travel Foundation Tourism Declares a Climate Emergency. VisitScotland UNWTO and UNEP have the ambition to accelerate their sectors’ ambitions towards climate action and to align travel and tourism with international agreements.

The Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA) in partnership with us here at VisitScotland, has designed this course specifically for those working in the visitor attraction industry. It enables participants to discover everything they need to know about being an ambassador for their attraction and delivering great service.

The course content is closely aligned to our Quality Assurance programme for Visitor Attractions, providing guidance and insight into the expectations of 5-star service, hospitality and friendliness.
