Our EventScotland team works with a wide range of partners to deliver a programme of events industry development activity throughout the year. This activity includes local engagement sessions and topic-specific workshops, specifically designed for those working within the events and festivals sector.

EventScotland livestreaming events workshop

EventScotland and Inner Ear delivered a FREE half-day introductory workshop on the live streaming of events. The workshop took place at the National Piping Centre in Glasgow on the afternoon of 15 November 2018.

Creative content communications company Inner Ear specialise in live streaming, live and documentary programme-making and digital media consultancy. Inner Ear regularly live stream projects and events, including, The World Pipe Band Championships, Glenfiddich Piping Championship, Cowal Highland Gathering (incorporating the World Highland Dancing Championships) and the Scottish Album of the Year Award to name a few.

This video allows viewers to gain an understanding of how live streaming works and includes best practice advice and the key tips you need to know around live streaming at events. There's further discussion from event organisers who already successfully live stream their events.
