International tourism to Scotland demonstrated stronger growth from 2023 than domestic, demonstrating a continued post-COVID recovery.
2024 was a record year for international visitor numbers, nights, and spend, surpassing both 2019 and 2023. This was also the first year that international expenditure accounted for over half (54%) of total overnight expenditure.
