Planning is of course an integral stage in the process of travel, and there’s a so much we can learn from the behaviour, preferences, decisions and even the tools people use when organising their visit.
In the research we’ve undertaken, we’ve looked at the whole visitor journey from inspiration to planning, booking and later sharing. It helps us build a better picture of what is a particularly important to our visitors and helps inform and drive a number of our own activities. We’ve made our findings available for you to explore and hopefully find just as useful.
Unfortunately the planned Scotland Visitor Survey for 2020 has been postponed.
