National-only category shortlist
The shortlists for the national-only categories for the Scottish Thistle Awards 2026 have been revealed.
The winners of these categories will be announced at the National Final ceremony this November, following the conclusion of the regional finals.
This year, four national-only categories will be awarded. Alongside Best Business Event, Best Luxury Experience and Outstanding Sporting Event, the Positive Impact Inbound Tour Operator Award makes its debut in 2026, recognising Scottish-based inbound tour operators and destination management companies that champion responsible travel while creating world-class experiences for international visitors.
These categories celebrate businesses and events at the top of their game, delivering exceptional visitor experiences, supporting sustainable tourism and showcasing the very best of Scotland to visitors from around the world.
