Where stories of Scotland come together

Supplier applications to register for VisitScotland Connect 2027 are now live. Our flagship travel trade event, will return to the SEC in Glasgow on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 April 2027, building on the success of this year’s event and once again supported by Visit Glasgow.

This event is the pinnacle of our travel trade event calendar, bringing together hundreds of Scottish tourism suppliers and global travel buyers under one roof to share stories of our places, our people and our unique travel experiences. It allows us to showcase what Scotland has to offer, in real-time, with buyers from across the globe – driving meaningful and sustainable tourism growth.

It supports tourism as a high-value export, driving international trade, enhancing Scotland's global profile and influencing and enabling investment. VisitScotland Connect delivers real economic impact. It generates millions of pounds for Scotland every year.

The most recent event alone is forecast to deliver £10 million in additional bookings.

Don’t just take our word for it...

The buzz of conversation and enthusiasm was felt across the SEC this year.

We spoke to attendees about their experiences - from distilleries and hotels to buyers creating Scotland packages in Australia and China. The feedback was clear - meeting face to face is invaluable. Connecting with new contacts and sharing ideas in person is vital to building strong business relationships.

Feedback from this year’s post event evaluation, conducted in May 2026, was positive, take a look at our evaluation story that we shared earlier this year.

Tech@Connect

The VisitScotland Connect experience will begin even before the two full days of meetings get underway - from a civic reception, hosted by The Lord Provost of Glasgow to carefully curated familiarisation trips and business connections taking place outside the SEC walls.

New for 2027, Tech@Connect is a standalone conference focusing on travel technology and digital growth.

Taking place the day before VisitScotland Connect (13 April 2027), it brings together tourism experiences and accommodation providers with technology solution partners including Rezgo and Ventrata to explore the technology available to reach new markets to help businesses grow.

More on this exciting new event including the speaker line-up and technology partners announced next month.
