Extra Mile Club

We partnered with American television network NBC’s NBCUniversal Local to create two special episodes of acclaimed reality travel series, Extra Mile Club, which spotlighted Scotland as the destination of the show. 

The activity, aimed at the higher-spending US travel market, saw two travel advisor teams from Global Travel Collection compete to create the perfect Scottish itineraries for celebrity clients. 

The episodes, which featured locations across Argyll, Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Lothians, were aired directly after the popular US series, Saturday Night Live, on the 13 and 20 December 2025.

Each episode also included a 30 second brand spotlight ad on VisitScotland. 

In the lead-up to their broadcast, the episodes were supported by targeted advertising across NBC and Peacock and social media channels in November and December 2025. 

 

 

Additional activity

We also created a complementary itinerary for viewers on our consumer website which was included in a dedicated email to our consumer email subscribers.

In addition, an episode of NBC’s Open House had a segment on Cromlix Hotel, hosted by Kim Murray, who co-owns the hotel with her husband, and Scottish tennis legend, Andy Murray. It was broadcast on 6 December 2025.
