Scotland is hosting the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships from 3 -13 August 2023, with 13 world championships taking place across the country.

Perthshire has been chosen to host the Gran Fondo event which forms part of the championships on 4 August 2023.

The Gran Fondo is a closed road event which means that there will be a series of road closures along the route during the day in order to facilitate the event safely.

The event organisers have been contacting residents, communities and businesses across the area and will be holding a series of community engagement surgeries as part of the process.

In addition, the event organisers are holding two online webinars for businesses to provide an overview and information on the Gran Fondo and details of who to contact with specific questions and any concerns.
