An event bringing UK coach tour operators and Scottish suppliers together

Does your business cater to coach tour visitors and are you a member of the UK Coach Tourism Association (CTA)? Then why not join the CTA on 24 - 26 July for their Summer Networking event in Glasgow which includes great trips to local attractions, a civic reception and a Scotland workshop for 1:1 meetings with UK buyers.

The CTA is the only UK-wide membership organisation for coach tour operators and Scottish suppliers who cater for coach visitors. The CTA bring together the two sides of the industry actively promoting coach tourism, delivering key benefits to operators and suppliers. The Glasgow event will be the first time the CTA has ever come up to Scotland for one of their events and will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase the city of Glasgow and Scotland as a whole to their members from across the UK.

What to expect

The event takes place from 24 - 26 July 2022.

On the first day, delegates will be taken on a familiarisation trip to the Riverside Museum and Clydeside Distillery followed by a civic reception and dinner in the Crowne Plaza Hotel with Scottish entertainment to follow.

On the second day, there will be a Scotland workshop with an opportunity for CTA operators and wholesalers to meet Scottish suppliers. This will be followed by a visit to the Pollok Country Park and the recently refurbished Burrell Collection.

The event is currently open for registrations from CTA members only. VisitScotland reserves the right to open the Scotland workshop to non-CTA suppliers should available spaces exceed demand. Scottish businesses with coach-friendly product will be informed by their VisitScotland contact should this be the case.
