Vikki Chapman, Head of Sustainability for Live Nation UK & Ireland, has been announced as the latest keynote speaker for Scotland’s National Events Conference (9 March 2026 at Technology and Innovation Centre in Glasgow) as the full programme for this year’s event is revealed.

This year's programme features three keynote sessions and eight breakout sessions all designed to help more than 200 delegates explore how events can deliver positive change. The breakout sessions cover a wide range of themes, from community engagement and sector resilience to place‑based partnerships, future skills and global positioning.

Delegates will also have the chance to explore Scotland’s National Events Strategy and Action Plan, which sets out a shared ‘Team Scotland’ approach. They can also take part in sessions focused on environmental action and emerging trends shaping the events industry.

Get to know Vikki

As Head of Sustainability for Live Nation UK & Ireland, Vikki leads the rollout of Green Nation, the company’s sustainability charter, across festivals, venues, offices and tours. 

Since joining Live Nation in 2016, Vikki has played a key role in embedding environmental responsibility into the organisation. Her earlier work as Sustainability Coordinator at Festival Republic saw her recognised as a Creative Green Champion by Julie’s Bicycle, the international non‑profit body driving climate action across the creative industries.

A passionate advocate for climate leadership, she was part of the first Creative Climate Leaders cohort and continues to support industry‑wide progress through The Vision for Sustainable Events Forum.

She has  also contributed to the next edition of The Show Must Go On report and is an active member of LIVE Green. In recognition of her influence, she was named one of the Access All Areas100 — celebrating key figures shaping the future of live entertainment.


Vikki joins previously announced keynote speakers Hugh Brasher, CEO of London Marathon Events and Phil Batty OBE, Chief Executive of Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. 

Richard Lochhead, Minister for Business Employment, will provide a Welcome address and Rob Dickson, our Director of Industry & Events, will provide the Opening and Closing Remarks.  Award-winning, Scottish TV, radio & podcast presenter Zara Janjua will host the conference.  

An additional line-up of speakers for the breakout sessions will be announced over the coming weeks.

Our flagship events industry conference brings together leaders from across the sporting and cultural events sector to explore how events can deliver positive change.
