As the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games come to a close, VisitScotland Chief Executive Vicki Miller, said:

"For tourism, the benefits extend beyond the competition itself. Events are a powerful driver of Scotland's visitor economy, creating opportunities for accommodation providers, attractions, hospitality businesses and communities, while inspiring future travel.
"Glasgow 2026 has reinforced Scotland's reputation as one of the world's leading destinations for events.
