Introducing the VisitScotland Asset Library

We’ve upgraded! The VisitScotland Media Toolkit has become the VisitScotland Asset Library. Our visual library now lives on a new platform - Canto - making it easier than ever to find and download the best of Scotland, one breathtaking shot at a time.

That means faster search, easier navigation, and beautiful high-res content at your fingertips. Whether you're after Scottish wildlife in action, lively city scenes, or our vibrant events and festivals scene - it's all here, and easier to find than ever before.

Our new AI-powered search lets you use everyday language rather than using strict keywords or filters. It’s ideal for generating ideas and exploring broad themes (e.g. “A moody image of a castle”) to instantly surface the most relevant free-to-use images and videos for marketing and promotional activity.

The asset library continues to serve as a tool for users across the tourism and events industry, travel professionals, press, and media, helping them enhance their visibility with high-quality promotional materials. All materials are intended solely for destination promotion and may not be used for commercial gain.
