We’re delighted that almost 200 people signed up to our recent industry webinar 'Marketing Scotland internationally', which took place on the morning of Wednesday 15 September.

During the webinar, hosted by Denise Hill, VisitScotland’s Head of Engagement, we heard from:

  • Gwen Raez – Senior Market Development Manager, who shared details of our upcoming marketing campaign 'Scotland is Calling' designed to support the recovery of Scotland’s tourism industry, by keeping Scotland front of mind with high-spending international visitors. We’re aiming to make Scotland the first-choice destination when international travel is possible again – encouraging forward bookings for late 2021 through to 2022 and beyond – and delivering sustainable long-term growth.
  • Lesley McIvor – Social Media Performance Manager, who discussed the important role our social media presence plays as part of this new campaign, and how businesses can make the most of their social media channels to join in with the Scotland is Calling conversation online.
  • Patrick O'Shaughnessy – Industry Development Manager, who provided practical advice on why online booking is important. With the launch of this new campaign, we’re inspiring visitors to holiday in Scotland, when it's safe to do so, and we want to make sure your business can be found online.

A recording of the webinar is now available for you to watch.
