Hazel Galloway is General Manager of the new 300-bedroom Maldron Hotel Glasgow City. Originally from Larkhall, Hazel’s career in the hospitality sector has taken her all over Scotland and England.

In July 2020, she joined Maldron Hotels and has overseen the opening of the Dalata Hotel Group’s first hotel in Scotland. The £40 million Maldron Hotel Glasgow City opened in August 2021 creating 80 new jobs for the city.

Hazel talks about the hotel’s opening, the excitement of hosting international guests for the upcoming 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), and the legacy of this event for Glasgow.
