Delegates heard from our Senior Insight Manager, Chris Greenwood, who shared up-to-date insights on how COVID-19 is impacting tourism businesses, the events industry and what our consumers are looking for in a future holiday in Scotland. During his presentation, Chris shared insights from the consumer sentiment tracker, which tracks research into UK residents' holiday intentions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Director of Marketing & Digital, Vicki Miller, updated on our marketing strategy and branding approach going forward, covering our domestic and international marketing plans. Vicki touched on market prioritisation and the development of existing markets, to ensure we're delivering growth for Scottish tourism, and continue to welcoming high-value visitors to Scotland.

In her presentation, Vicki talked about the approach behind our new responsible visitor managament campaign and film. Find out more about our campaign and see how you can help encourage safe and responsible tourism.

Riddell Graham, our Director of Industry and Destination Development, discussed how we're supporting the industry and working with the Scottish Government on guidelines, advice and funding. He also discussed the role of STERG, and how we're working to ensure that we're in the best position to help re-build Scottish tourism.

For this webinar we worked with Bill McFarlan, Executive Chairman at Pink Elephant Communications, who hosted the session for us. If you missed the webinar, or would like to re-watch, the recording is now available.
