Events in all their forms contribute significantly to the economic and social fabric of Scotland and we are putting all our efforts into supporting the industry during this challenging time.
As part of this support, EventScotland is setting up virtual forums to identify the key initiatives and support needed for the industry, so it is in the best place to restart once Scotland and the UK get on top of what is undoubtedly the greatest challenge of our lifetime.

This is a challenging time for everyone, including the events and festivals sector but I know our industry in Scotland is resilient and has great capacity and capability to recover from this crisis and become even stronger over the coming months and years given the right support.

The virtual forums will help shape a sustainable recovery plan for our important industry. We have already reached out to many of our contacts across the industry to ask them to be part of shaping this plan but we are eager to hear from anyone who has an interest in contributing.

If you would like participate and share your views on the key issues to be addressed as we develop a way forward then please get in contact. We are also keen to get your views as part of the forum discussion on the

re-establishment of an Events and Festivals Advisory Group.

Out of adversity I am very confident that if we work together, we will emerge stronger.
