Inspiring short break and day visits to Dundee

We recently worked with the Dundee Tourism Leadership Group to inspire short break and day visits to Dundee in spring.

Targeting a family audience living in central and north East of Scotland, we’ve amplified the city's “Do It All In Dundee” campaign during the months March to May 2024.

Campaign activity

As part of our activity to raise awareness of the wide range of family activities to experience in the city we worked with various newspapers both online and in print.

Articles featured across popular newspaper titles including:

  • The Daily Record

  • Scottish Daily Express

  • Glasgow Live

  • Edinburgh Live

  • Aberdeen Live

A series of campaign adverts (you can view these in the following image gallery) were promoted across these newspaper websites, as well as paid social media posts to further inspire visitors on what to see and do across the city.

Bla-mazing adventures in Dundee

Dundee also recently featured in our marketing campaign featuring famous comic characters Dennis and Gnasher and Minnie the Minx too.

As part of the two-year campaign we worked with one of the UK’s best-loved comics, The Beano, and ScotRail’s Kids for a Quid deal.

The campaign saw Dennis and Minnie the Minx visit attractions across Scotland's cities including Dundee, and of course promoting dog-friendly days out, with Gnasher in tow.
