We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
The Queen had a longstanding love for Scotland, and she often described the deep affection she held for our country.
Throughout her reign, she enjoyed spending summers with her family at her Royal residence in Balmoral and following the death of her husband the Duke of Edinburgh, she spoke of the many happy memories they had made together in Scotland.
We would like to express our condolences to the King, the Queen Consort and the Royal Family.
