The Boating Tourism in Scotland survey is undertaken every six years and provides vital evidence on how the sailing and leisure boating tourism sector is performing in Scotland.

The aim is to ensure that this sector and businesses have quality, robust data when making funding applications, leading delivery of their strategy or simply planning business operations.

EKOS Ltd has been commissioned by British Marine Scotland, alongside a range of other partners, to undertake this study and are seeking support from operators of boating facilities (marina, harbour or mooring) and charter hire operators in Scotland.

They are gathering information on the sailing and leisure boating market and issues that will affect its future success. The questionnaires ask for information about your current capacity and level of demand and should take around 20 minutes to complete.

A major survey of recreational boat owners / users using Scottish waters and facilities is also underway. This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and completed questionnaires will be entered into a prize draw for a Spinlock Deckvest LITE+. Take the survey today.

All surveys will close in early September.
