To support hostels and small serviced accommodation providers (bed and breakfasts, guest houses, inns, and restaurants with rooms) as they work to reopen and recover, we’re offering one-to-one business support sessions with our Quality and Tourism experts.
What do the sessions involve?
Our Quality Time with VisitScotland sessions are free of charge, one-off advice sessions which are especially designed for businesses who aren’t part of our Quality Assurance scheme.
We can help you take stock of changes among those visitors first to return and what their needs and expectations are; what they are looking for in terms of levels of safety and cleanliness, transparency of offering and, of course, service. We can provide advice on how best to communicate the measures you are implementing to convert enquirers and reassure visitors. If time and resources are tight, let us help you target your efforts to provide a welcome which meets and exceeds their expectations.
If you’re eligible for this service (as a hostel or small service accommodation provider who is not part of our Quality Assurance scheme) we invite you to get in touch with us and book your one-to-one session with a Quality and Tourism Advisor.
During your session, which will take place as a phone or video call, we will offer advice and feedback which will be specifically tailored for your business, and following your session, we’ll provide you with a written report detailing the support and bespoke advice discussed.
