VisitScotland Quality Assurance Scheme - Enquiry Form

The VisitScotland Quality Assurance Scheme for serviced apartments has been developed in partnership with the industry to provide businesses with a comprehensive, independent, accurate assessment of the quality of experience they are offering across all areas of their business.

The scheme is designed to inspire and encourage improvement within the serviced apartments sector, helping every Quality Assurance Member achieve their full potential in providing the best possible visitor experience.

Quality Assurance Membership and displaying your award speaks volumes to your visitors – it demonstrates you take quality seriously.

What are defined as serviced apartments?

VisitScotland will use the following definition when deciding whether to grade a business as Serviced Apartments. If your establishment does not meet this definition, please consider whether an alternative sector’s criteria might be more appropriate, such as our self-catering section

Serviced apartments - normally located within one building and usually, though not necessarily, in city centre locations. They will be equipped with a kitchen facility or offer a meal service in the apartment or communal location. All will provide a weekly cleaning service as a minimum.
