Skills Development Scotland (SDS) have launched a resource to help employers support their staff during the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.

They recently launched a resource as part of their Our Skillforce programme, which includes advice and resources on supporting employees’ mental and physical wellbeing, and important considerations when returning employees to the workplace. It also hosts materials to help employers support staff members in variety of situations, such as facilitating flexible working to assist staff with parental or caring responsibilities.

As businesses face this period of uncertain change, it’s more important than ever to consider employee wellbeing. SDS have an existing employer area with collateral for providing wellbeing support.

Further details can be found on My World of Work's Wellbeing Support page. Sharing advice on how to cope during lockdown can be an effective way of maintaining regular communication with staff who are furloughed in order to keep them engaged in anticipation of returning to work.
