The Scottish Police Service - Know Your Customer campaign

Created as an awareness raising campaign designed to encourage reporting of any suspicious activity and to reassure the wider community and potential visitors to Scotland that Scotland remains a safe place to visit.

The Scottish Police Service have produced a leaflet and poster, available below for download, explaining the main points of this anti-terrorist security campaign.

In line with the knowledge that terrorists can use remote locations or multi-activity centres as a way of developing bonding and motivation, one way of managing this risk is to improve the awareness amongst  local communities of how terrorist organisations operate.

By undertaking this type of campaign the Scottish Police service are asking businesses to be more knowledgeable about their customers.
