Scotland Visitor Survey

The latest Scotland Visitor Survey was undertaken for VisitScotland by Jump Research during the summer of 2015.

The survey provides a wealth of information on overnight summer leisure visitors to Scotland. The data can also be used for benchmark figures for local organisations to use for more localised surveys and can be used in conjunction with other research resources available.

The Scotland Visitor Survey does not gather information on the volume and value of visitors to Scotland or its regions. Volume and value statistics can be found in the Tourism Statistics sections.
