Tourism in Scotland 2008

In 2008 around 15 million tourists took overnights trips to Scotland.  The annual spend was over £4.0 billion. Scottish Tourism contributes 11% of the Scottish service sector economy compared to 9% for the UK as a whole.  Please note that International Passenger Figures from Office of National Statisitcs are currently provisional and may be subject to change upon revision.
