The NESTOUR Conference, incorporating the Northern Lights Tourism Awards were held at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa, Pitfodels on the 24th November 2008. The conference included speeches from Kevin Brown, BAA Aberdeen Airport (Mixing Business with Leisure) Malmaison Hotel followed by Torquil Macleod (Homecoming Scotland) and Keith Newton (Aberdeenshire Council) discussing the plans for Homecoming Scotland 2009 and how you could get involved. The Awards Established in 2003 the annual tourism awards for Aberdeen City and Shire to recognise
and celebrate excellence in the tourism industry. Applications are judged by a panel of independent
