Developed in collaboration between VisitScotland and People 1st the UK Skills Passport is a unique online tool for recording and maintaining employee skills profiles.
Individuals can record their own skills and qualifications online and update the record of formal training, informal training and new skills acquired.
Overall the passport provides the functionality to identify skills gaps and provide a training log. It provides an official record of your achievements and saves time in explaining your experience and qualification every time you see a new employer.
It works like an ‘electronic CV’ linking skills and experience and presenting a professional attitude to potential employers.
