Lodge

Lodge accommodation will provide primarily overnight accommodation, often situated close to a major road or in a city centre. Reception hours may be restricted and payment may be required on check in. There may or may not be public areas or a food and beverage outlet. A car parking space will normally be provided for each bedroom. The following documents are designed to provide you with all the information you need to know about the content and operation of the Lodge Quality Assurance Scheme. All guidance notes, criteria for classification, information on fees and application forms are available to download below. Each section should be read and understood before an application is made to join the Quality Assurance Scheme.
These assessors’ notes contain information on all the aspects which contribute to the quality grade of your establishment. Details of the percentages (and conditions) required to reach each star grade are given.
Each property is recognised by a classification ‘type’, and the range of facilities and services expected in the most appropriate classification for your establishment is contained here.
During each visit, not only is the grading assessment made, but a wealth of information and advice is available from your Quality Advisor. The following link also includes a summary of fees. Quality Assurance Fees
