Taste of Christmas

Introduction

EatScotland have created an offer coupon which will be part of the Taste of Christmas voucher booklet. VisitScotland will also have a 1 page display advert in the show guide. Both items will be handed out to visitors at the Taste of Christmas show, being held in London on 4th – 7th December 2008 presented by Gordon Ramsay.

Campaign Objectives

The primary reason is to datacapture visitors’ details to add to our database so we can start including them in our regular communications via RM enticing them with offers and information about Scotland to encourage trips and expenditure in Scotland.

Activity Details

The offer coupon has a strong food related competition promoting Scotland as a foodie destination. Entrants have the chance to win a two day break to Fife where they will have a full itinerary centred on food and drink with some other visitor attractions included as well.

The show guide advert also shows the competition and information about EatScotland.com.

To support this, a page has been created on EatScotland.com to provide more information about the prize on offer and allow visitors to enter.

The print run of the voucher booklets and the show guide are both 25,000, full colour.
