Visitor Survey Report 2008-9
A new Orkney visitor survey report is
now available in our Regional Facts and Figures section.
The aim of this study is to provide detailed visitor
information with which to guide future tourism policy in Orkney. It
looks at:
- volume and expenditure of visitors
- information about visitor profiles and their visit
- principal drivers relating to Orkney as a destination of
choice
- information on the quality of the visitor experience
- service and product gaps relating to Orkney tourism
- providing results which allow comparison of key indices with
previous reports.
The report was prepared for HIE, Orkney Islands Council and
VisitOrkney by AB Associates Ltd.
