European Events

VisitScotland’s core markets include Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and Sweden. These are countries that offer good prospects to maintain and grow our share of their outbound holiday taking. We also target Russia as an emerging market that shows considerable potential for growth.

As well as targeting European consumers, VisitScotland works with the European travel trade (such as tour operators and travel agents) to encourage them to include Scotland in their activities and offers. Scottish partners help us showcase what we have to offer and help bring our products and services to life.

Full country profiles have been compiled on Scotland’s main markets, providing tourism related facts and figures for each country.
