Scottish Borders Tourism Industry Conference
Keynote speaker for the day will be Professor John Lennon,
founding Director of the Moffat Centre.
The Moffat Centre is the UK's largest university based consultancy
and research centre for tourism and travel market research and
business development.
During the day there will be a series of interactive workshops
which will focus on:
- Digital & Media – Find out about the latest developments on
VisitScotland websites and how to make sites like TripAdvisor work
for you
- Year of Creative Scotland - what does this means for your
business and how do you get involved?
- Marketing - What is VisitScotland doing to market the region?
An overview of the current and future marketing campaigns,
responding to recent trends and consumer insights
You will have the opportunity to attend each workshop. You will
also have the option to attend an additional workshop on accessible
tourism and opportunities for your business.
A question and answer session will also take at place during the
day which will give you the opportunity to pose any questions you
may have to VisitScotland and the Scottish Borders Tourism
Partnership.
