Scotland’s newest bridge – 1.7 miles in length – the Queensferry Crossing is the world’s longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge, and represents an exciting new tourism opportunity for Scotland.

This exciting addition across the Firth of Forth means Scotland is the world’s first destination to have three bridges spanning three centuries in one stunning location.

Bridging a gap between Fife and Edinburgh, the journey across the bridge makes it easier than ever for visitors to explore Scotland.

Scotland’s reputation as a quality destination relies on continued investment and innovation to ensure that current provision meets future demand. Investment such as this is key to growing Scotland’s tourism industry and this new bridge will transform the tourism economy and support the ambitions for growth in connecting regions.

Our Queensferry Crossing toolkit has a range of marketing and communication tools to help promote yourselves to potential new domestic and international visitors and to be part of this exciting new transport development.

The new bridge opened to traffic for the first time on 30 August 2017.
