Other Resources and Support

As well as our range of marketing tools to help your business capitalise on the tourism opportunities created by the new Borders Railway the following resources, information and support may be useful to your business.

Ticketing and Timetables

Tickets and timetables for the Borders Railway are now available on www.scotrail.co.uk

ScotRail Business Travel offers a great way to organise tickets on behalf of others, and can also arrange group travel options for 10 people or more. For more information about ScotRail Business Travel go to www.scotrail.co.uk/scotrail-business-travel

Existing ScotRail tickets which offer savings to visitors travelling on the Borders Railway include Kids Go Free tickets and 2 for 1 attractions.

Find out about getting involved in these offer schemes, or how to engage with ScotRail's marketing activities, by contacting the ScotRail team directly.

Please note if you organise tickets for your visitors you may be subject to the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. Business Companion have created a Package tours & holidays guide to help you recognise what is meant by a package holiday so you can determine whether the legislation applies and, if so, what you are responsible for.
